ARTISAN COMMITTEE
The Artisan Committee executes the KCHBA’s home tour, which showcases Kansas City’s finest custom home builders and the unique and impeccable qualities of their one-of-a-kind homes.

ASSOCIATES COUNCIL
The Associate Council will meet the second Wednesday of every month unless other wise communicated. Associate Council plans many of the networking events throughout the year and gives associates the opportunity to network with builder members and other members.

BUILDERS COUNCIL
The Builders Council provides an opportunity for builder members to learn best practices and exchange ideas to meet the housing needs of the Kansas City metro.

DEVELOPERS COUNCIL
This group of KCHBA members meet regularly to discuss all things related to bringing raw land to finished lots. This all activities such as coding, zoning development, infrastructure and land use.

 


 

FOUNDATION COMMITTEE
A strong, livable neighborhood should be available to all in our society. That is why the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (KCHBA) established the Home Builders Charitable Foundation in 2002 as the charitable arm of the KCHBA. This committee focuses on fundraising and supporting 501(c)3 organizations in and around Kansas City.

HBA-PAC TRUSTEES
The KCHBA’s Political Action Committee, HBA PAC, enables members to strengthen their civic involvement by helping to elect pro-housing candidates at the local and state level.

PARADE COMMITTEE
The Parade Committee produces the KCHBA’s Spring and Fall Parade of Homes — the second largest Parade of Homes in the nation.

PROFESSIONAL WOMEN IN BUILDING COUNCIL
Kansas City Professional Women in Building Council (KCPWB) is the voice of women in residential construction, committed to an inclusive, supportive environment for women. KCPWB provides educational opportunities and networking events to assist members in building their skills and their professional networks.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The KCHBA has developed a Workforce Development Committee to assist with efforts to alleviate the labor shortage in the residential construction industry. The group has implemented a multi-pronged approach to promote careers in home building not only to students but anyone looking to make a career change or enhance their skill set.
