Home Builders Association Announces New Executive Vice President

Josh Desk-webThe Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City, a trade association representing the home building industry, has announced the addition of Josh Clark as its new executive vice president.

“We are very pleased to announce this appointment,” said Harold Phelps, 2017 HBA President, “and our members are eager to work with Josh as he brings new ideas and fresh eyes to the organization.”

Clark’s resume includes experience with several non-profit organizations, political campaign management and, most recently, as the Vice President of Builder Services at the Tidewater Builders Association in Chesapeake, Va. With degrees in political science and sociology, as well as experience in real estate sales, Clark can draw upon a wide-ranging background.

In relocating to Kansas City from the eastern U.S., he will be busy getting acquainted with the Midwest and the local home builders and industry professionals. Josh will also work to further the HBA’s advocacy efforts with local and state government officials.

“I look forward to bringing people together as we identify issues that are important to the industry” said Clark. “I am dedicated to this industry and am proud to join an organization that has supported home building in Kansas City for the past 80 years.”
