Foundation Grant Requests Due Oct. 31
In 2022, the KCHBA’s Home Builders Charitable Foundation has a goal of supporting at least one organization in each of the eight counties KCHBA represents. There are four counties we are looking to support with the fall round of grants: Cass (MO), Platte (MO), Leavenworth (KS) and Miami (KS).
If you know of a deserving organization in any of these counties, please email your suggestions to Kari@kchba.org or share this link to the grant application. Grant requests are due Oct. 31 and the Foundation Committee will be reviewing those requests in November.
As background, the Home Builders Charitable Foundation was established in 2002 as the charitable arm of the KCHBA. The foundation’s mission focuses on three main areas:
- Increasing career opportunities in the skilled trades by supporting educational programs and job training resources related to the construction industry
- Support the revitalization of Kansas City area communities
- Charitable causes, such as human services like transitional and supportive services and housing
The Foundation Committee is grateful for the generous individuals who have supported the Home Builders Charitable Foundation with a donation this year so it can continue to serve others in the greater Kansas City community. With your help, the committee hopes to increase the number of non-profits it is able to donate to not just this year but also in the future.
