Meet students currently learning carpentry basics through a nationally recognized training program. Students are currently at the Johnson County Corrections Adult Residential Facility and are looking to re-enter the workforce and are thrilled to be given this second chance.

This is not like other programs – it was created specifically for the HBA and has been refined to remove the typical barriers to successful employment.
WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND:
• All students were evaluated prior to being accepted into program.
• For first 6 weeks of on-the-job training 50% of their wages are paid for.
• Assistance is available for transportation and other needs.
• They can work on both sides of the state line.
