KCHBA members packed the room at Boulevard Brewing on Dec. 7 for the 2023 Inaugural Celebration. The recipients of the following annual awards were announced during this time in recognition of their leadership and service to the homebuilding industry:

- Fred J. Geier Associate of the Year
- Next Generation Builder Award
- Builder Hall of Fame Award
The Year in Review
023 was an eventful time in housing. A slowing national economy with increased interest rates and changes in local building codes were (and continue to be) hot topics. The KCHBA began the rollout of a new strategic communications blueprint for the association, won several awards and co-hosted the first ever Kansas Build My Future event.
