Extended Winter Weather Slows Permits (April 2018)

KANSAS CITY, MO – Residential permits issued during the first four months of 2018 have slowed slightly compared to the same period during 2017.  The 1,933 single family units permitted through April 2018 are a decrease of 6 percent from the level of activity in early 2017.  The unusually cold and snowy April delayed many build jobs, but spring and summer weather will put schedules back on track.
