Pfeifer to Lead Home Builders Association in 2025
The Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (KCHBA) is pleased to announce that Justin Pfeifer, president of Pfeifer Homes, has been named president of the association for 2025.
As KCHBA president, Pfeifer will continue promote homeownership at the local, state and national level regarding issues and policies affecting the ability to purchase a home, particularly as it relates to codes. Additionally, Pfeifer plans to find ways to grow the association.
Pfeifer’s career in construction began as a teenager working on a framing crew scrapping out the jobsites and learning the framing trade. From there he worked his way up alongside Pfeifer Homes superintendents through his high school and college years. After college, he began working in an office role, which ultimately led to his current role as president. Pfeifer and his team have won numerous awards for their homes, including the KCHBA’s Distinctive Plan & Design and Pick of the Parade awards during the Parade of Homes.
“Growing the membership will be a team effort by all involved in the association,” said Pfeifer. “The larger and stronger our membership is, the better equipped we are to make homeownership more accessible for all.”
Serving alongside Pfeifer on the KCHBA’s 2025 Executive Committee will be:
- Vice President: Joe Christensen, Cardinal Crest
- Secretary/Treasurer: Sean Flandermeyer, Elevate Design + Build
- Immediate Past President: Dennis Shriver, Hearthside Homes
- Associate Representative: Kevin Kirtley, K&E Flatwork
- Past President Representative: Harold Phelps, Phelps Engineering
- KCHBA Executive Vice President: Will Ruder
