KCHBA’s Chris Ragland Earns NAHB’s Certified Master Builder

Chris Ragland, founder of Homes by Chris and past KCHBA President, is among the first group of builders to earn NAHB’s Certified Master Builder or Remodeler title. This recently launched credential spotlights industry professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to the highest standards of practice within the industry.

Applicants must complete 50 hours of broad-based qualifying education within five years and have a minimum of five years served in a leadership role at a residential building or remodeling firm.

“Any builder who’s been in business a few years should think about becoming a Certified Master Builder,” said Chris Ragland, owner of Homes by Chris who also recently earned the CMBP credential. “It gives you more credibility in the industry, and it’s a great program they put together.”
