In order to maintain the contractor license, every qualified individual must complete a minimum of hours of continuing education per license class. In Kansas a minimum of eight hours is required by the Contractor Licensing Review Board each calendar year. In Missouri, 32 hours of continuing education are required for each renewal every four years.
If you have questions about how many hours you need, please contact the city you’re working in or Johnson County Contractor Licensing if you are in Kansas.
