KCHBA’s Business Continuity Plan

As concern about the current COVID-19 outbreak grows, we’re doing our best to keep everyone healthy and safe in the workplace while also minimizing the disruptions to our day-to-day operations.

The Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (KCHBA) is here to serve its members and will continue to maintain regular business hours. However, given the nature of the circumstances, the HBA is revising its operating procedures. Moving forward, KCHBA will suspend in-person meetings at its headquarters until March 31. Instead, meetings will be held via conference calls or videoconferencing so that we can keep the lines of communication open as we navigate this new challenge.

Additionally, any events scheduled between now and March 31 will be either cancelled or postponed. You will be receiving updated calendar invites/notifications from staff regarding various KCHBA meetings soon.

At this time, we recommend that KCHBA members put their businesses and families front and center. The relationships we have with one another and the broader home buying public are of utmost importance. Due to the rapidly changing nature of the spread of the COVID-19, we will continue to keep you updated as the circumstances change.

While we cannot control or predict how consumers, financial markets, and governments will react to situations like the one we’re in, we can work to reassure you that the KCHBA is here to help and always looking out for your best interests.

All the best,

Will Ruder
Executive Vice President
