KCHBA Board Member Ora Reynolds Receives Bernard Powell Award

President and CEO of Hunt Midwest Ora Reynolds has been honored as the 2020 recipient of the Bernard Powell Award. Since 1980, Kansas City Chamber’s Centurions Leadership Program has, in Bernard Powell’s memory, recognized alumni who demonstrate outstanding leadership, deep commitment to service and clear passion for the improvement of the Greater Kansas City area. The recipient is selected by a committee of those who previously received the award.

As president & CEO of Hunt Midwest, Reynolds leads the full-service real estate company with an emphasis on the ground-up development of industrial, mission critical, climate controlled self-storage, multifamily, senior housing, and master-planned residential projects. She oversees all aspects of the Hunt entity’s existing real estate holdings while focusing on the company’s growth.

Ora’s community service stretches from corporate boards to numerous charitable and civic organizations. Reynolds is a member of the KCHBA’s Board of Directors. She is currently chair of the board for Starlight Theatre and a member of the KU Advancement Board. She also serves on the executive committee of the KCADC board and as an advisory board member of Commerce Bank. Reynolds is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She lives with her family in Leawood, Kan.
