KCHBA Thanks its Associate Members

The National Association of Home Builders designates September as Associate Appreciation month. The HBA is fortunate to have associate members that are so active and involved in our association. As a gesture of its appreciation, the HBA hosted an associate appreciation lunch Sept. 18. A DJ played music while members gathered for hamburgers and hot dogs, which were catered by Nadler’s Catering.

During the lunch, HBA President Gary Kerns recognized some of the oldest associate members of this organization. These companies all became members in 1948:

The HBA also recognized the members with the most Spike points. Those highlighted were George Schluter with 354 spike points, Tom Woods with 393 spike points, John Moffitt Jr. with 434 spike points and our top Spike in the association is Associate member Jack Baker with Bovard Insurance with 579 spike points.

This lunch is just a small way for the Board of Directors, the HBA staff to thank all of our associates for their membership. Remember — do business with a member!
