KC Star Highlights Spring Parade, Features Builders

The Kansas City Star recently published an article on the latest trends in interior design that will be featured on the Spring Parade of Homes, which starts April 22. In the article, “Experience bright, open, ‘Fixer Upper’-style living at Spring Parade of Homes,” reporter Cynthia Billhartz Gregorian writes that “it’s hard to imagine Don Julian and Gerry Starr sitting around watching Chip and Joanna Gaines rehab houses on HGTV’s wildly popular ‘Fixer Upper,’” but the builders’ Spring Parade homes incorporate many “Joannaesque features such as shiplap walls, raw wood ceilings and walls, exposed beams, open floor plans and huge windows for natural light.”
