November election results will shape the future in both Kansas and Missouri. The HBA Political Forecast Breakfast is your chance to get the scoop from two prominent and well-respected political journalists as they share what they have learned in covering the state capitols and the candidates.

Martin Hawver is the editor and publisher of Hawver’s Capitol Report, the respected non-partisan news service that reports on Kansas government and politics. He is the dean of the Kansas Statehouse press corps and has covered 36 Kansas legislative sessions and 14 national Republican and Democratic political conventions.

A three-time Emmy-nominated investigative journalist, Dave Helling has been involved in radio, TV and print advertising since 1977 and currently works as a multimedia reporter for The Kansas City Star, focusing on the local political scene.
