Build a Playhouse, Help a Cause
The Parade of Playhouses is the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s spring fundraiser for its Foundation.
You’re invited to join this fun and creative fundraiser by designing and building a unique playhouse to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Playhouses will be displayed during the Greater Kansas City Home and Lifestyle Show March 13-15, 2020, at Bartle Hall.
Support the Community
The Home Builders Foundation Fund of Greater Kansas City was formed in 2002 as the charitable arm of the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City. The HBA’s Foundation is committed to supporting the Kansas City community in three main areas:
1) Education related to the construction industry
2) Development and/or redevelopment of Kansas City area communities and
3) Charitable causes (such as human services like transitional and supportive services and housing)
Participate in the Parade of Playhouses
Featured on Fox4 last year, the Parade of Playhouses is a fun opportunity to align your brand with a local charity and reach consumers at the show and those watching TV at home. To participate in the Parade of Playhouses, the HBA Foundation is asking for a donation of $2,500. Due to increased interest, only 10 playhouse participants will be accepted! As a participant in the Parade of Playhouses, you will receive:
- The opportunity to speak with thousands of potential customers during the 2020 Home & Lifestyle Show
- An area next to the playhouse to display your company’s promotional materials
- Social media marketing before, during and after the event
- Company name and link on the Home Show website (kchomeshow.com)
- Recognition in the 2020 Spring Parade of Homes guide
- Recognition in the 2020 Home & Lifestyle Show guide
- 10 tickets to the Home & Lifestyle Show plus a 50% discount on any additional tickets purchased
Sponsor the Parade of Playhouses
This is a priceless opportunity to promote your company to thousands while aligning your brand with a worthy cause! The HBA Foundation is asking for a donation of $5,000 to be the presenting sponsor of the 2020 Parade of Playhouses. As presenting sponsor, you will receive:
- Company logo on select Home & Lifestyle Show electronic and printed communications

- Opportunity to announce winners of playhouses and/or announce current bids throughout weekend on main stage
