Associate Awards Now Open

The NAHB Associate Members Committee has opened the application and nomination process for four prestigious awards given annually to both Associate and Builder members for their service to the industry and support of their peers.

  • Associate of the Year and Society of Honored Associates Awards recognize Associate members who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the home building industry on the local, state and national levels.
  • The BEAM (Builders Engaging Associate Members) Award is given to the NAHB Builder member that best exemplifies the motto, “It’s good business to do business with a member.” The award serves to encourage builders to use the goods and services offered by Associate member companies and to recognize the builder or local entity that exemplifies this vitally important teamwork.
  • The Bill Polley BUILD-PAC Award honors the most outstanding Associate member advocate for BUILD-PAC, the NAHB political action committee. Award recipients are selected based on leadership roles in BUILD-PAC fundraising, efforts to increase Associate participation and overall enthusiasm and service.
  • The One to Watch Award is given to an outstanding young professional in the industry. In its second year, the One to Watch Award is judged on applicants’ career progression, industry involvement, innovation and leadership development. Only members born after Dec. 31, 1978, are eligible for the 2018 award.

Award applications and nominations will be accepted entirely online in 2018. To apply for an award or nominate someone else, please visit awards.nahb.com and log in with an NAHB member account.

The deadline for award applications and nominations is Sept. 30. Awards will be presented at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas in February 2019.
