IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES

• July 12: EARLY entry deadline ($1,250) | homes entered on or before July 12
• July 19: REGULAR entry deadline ($1,500) | homes entered July 13-19
• July 26: LATE entry deadline ($2,300) | homes entered July 20-26
  • Homes entered into the Parade after this date can NOT be guaranteed printed guidebook inclusion; online/app only option is available for late entry price
  • The KCHBA is NOT able to offer Parade entry refunds. However, if the KCHBA is notified that your Parade home has sold on or before the late entry deadline, your home can be taken off the Fall 2024 Parade and those funds can be applied to an entry in Spring 2025.
• July 29-Aug 1: Builder online proofing within portal; builder access is limited to certain features on Aug. 2
  • Most importantly, ensure the COUNTY is correct during this proofing period. If incorrect you need to call 816.733.2217 or email to update.
  • Double check the geolocation of your home is correct; the listed address and the mapped geolocation run independently of one another. This ensures your map pin is correct in the printed guide and correct within the app using longitude and latitude. Consumers use this to find your home!
  • Include front elevation photo, floor plan image(s), construction status, pricing, directions, etc.
  • Note: Additional interior photos can be added at any point leading up to and during the Parade. Please do include extra photos if you have them!
• Aug. 7: Parade guidebook ads due
• Aug. 9: FINAL deadline to change or add printed guidebook information
  • You will need to call or email to make any changes from Aug. 2-9.
  • This is the deadline to “swap” out any Parade homes within the same community if your original Parade entry sold. Addresses finalized on this date. Status (sold, not open, etc.) can be changed for the online/app listing during the Parade, but no address changes can be made after this deadline.
• Aug. 23: Contest EARLY deadline ($350/entry per contest)
• Aug. 30: Contest LATE deadline ($525/entry per contest)
• Sept. 4: Builder deadline to update contest home price (no exceptions!)
• Sept. 6: EARLY BIRD ticket pricing ends for Parade awards ceremony
• Sept. 17: Builder Parade material pick-up at the KCHBA (8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.)
• Sept. 18: Builder Parade material pick-up at the KCHBA (8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.; 1:00-5:00 p.m. by appointment)

• Sept. 19: Ticket sales end for Parade awards ceremony
• Sept. 21: 2024 Fall Parade of Homes begins
• Sept. 25: Parade awards ceremony
• Oct. 6: 2024 Fall Parade of Homes ends
